Chevrolet's Suburban has been carried over largely unchanged for 2004. It is
available in both 1500 and 2500, in either 2WD or 4WD configuration. 4WD models are
available with the Z71 Off-Road Package, which includes an off-road suspension,
skid plates, wheel flares, tubular side-steps, and upgraded wheels and tires. All
Suburbans 1500's are powered by a 295 hp 5.3L Vortec V-8 engine, while the 2500's
boast a 6.0 V-8 . Several optional upgrade packages are available, which include
features such as a sunroof, six-disc CD changer, adjustable pedals, OnStar, and
StabiliTrak vehicle stability system. A rear seat entertainment system, featuring a
DVD player and overhead display, is also an available option.
