The 2005 Astro is again available in passenger and cargo van styles, both in 2WD
or AWD versions. Chevy's minivan continues to offer eight passenger seating,
cruise control, and power windows and door locks. The Astro also offers extensive
safety features, such as standard driver and front passenger air bags, child
security sliding door, battery rundown protection, and the PASSLock
theft-deterrent system. Available options include the Homelink Universal
Transmitter, front and rear seat air conditioning, rear seat audio controls, and a
six-way power driver seat. A Heavy Duty Trailering Package equipped with an eight
wire trailer harness and frame mounted hitch platform is also available.
