Introduced as a new model last year, the Aveo returns for 2005 with only minor
changes. Chevy's compact car is available in two bodystyles, sedan or hatchback,
and in three trims, SVM, LS, and LT. Exterior improvements have been made for this
year, including a new rear spoiler on the hatchback model and new standard alloy
wheels on the LT. Exterior paint choices have also been revised with the addition
of Aqua and Sport Red. Standard equipment includes daytime running lights, floor
mats, and a split folding rear seat. LT trim upgrades include heated power
mirrors, keyless entry remote, and a stereo system with CD player and MP3
capability. Available options on the Aveo include ABS brakes, a power moonroof,
premium speakers, and an automatic transmission.
